Oh What Fun Slider Card - Lawn Faw

Welcome back everyone! I'm so excited to be sharing my card with you for Fawny Holiday Week over at Lawn Fawn! It will be jam packed with inspiration for the holiday season plus some fun giveaways so be sure to head over to the Lawn Fawn Blog to check it all out.

I haven't made a slider card in quite a while and I felt the Oh What Fun set was a perfect set to get back in the saddle.

VIDEO TUTORIAL

I have a video showing you how I created this card that you can view down below or HERE on my Youtube Channel.

CARD DETAILS

I couldn't resist creating an ink blended sky for my background. I used Peacock Feathers and Chipped Sapphire Distress Oxide inks, which to me gives a little glowing effect behind the mountains. The snowcaps are die cut from Pixie Dust cardstock which I think I use on almost every Lawn Fawn card because it's so magical.

If you haven't noticed it yet I have a slight blooper in my card. I wasn't quite thinking ahead when attaching my deer and so when my sleigh goes sliding down the hill..... it runs smack into the deer. The deer was glued down pretty good so I wasn't going to try and take it off haha. If you are recreating this card, I would suggest adding foam behind the deer to prop it up or just not add it there.

I hoped you enjoyed today's inspiration and will give this a go. I really miss making slider cards and need to add this to my to-do list. Don't forget to check out my video HERE and then also head to the Lawn Fawn blog for a chance to win some prizes!
