So Fly - Neat & Tangled

Welcome back to my blog everyone! Today I'll be copic coloring this fun image from Neat & Tangled called So Fly. It has been calling out to me to be colored up!

Today's post is a 2-for-1 special. I've really been trying to dig into my stash of stamps that I've been hoarding and give them some love. The bonus about this one for today is I can also use it for the Neat & Tangled Throwdown Tutorial Challenge

I have a complete tutorial for you that you can view down below or HERE on my Youtube channel.

Using a piece of Neenah Solar White cardstock 80lb I stamped my focal point image with copic friendly ink and colored with copic markers. Then used the coordinating die to die cut the image.

On a piece of Bristol Smooth cardstock trimmed down to 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" I ink blended Ripe Persimmon, Squeezed Lemonade and Salty Ocean Distress Oxide Ink. Then die cut a Stitched Circle from the ink blended panel.

To create my background of the card, I used a piece of Seaglass cardstock from Gina K Designs and added clouds with liquid glue. I made sure to leave some hanging off the edge in which I'll trim off later. My ink blended stitched circle is added to the Seaglass cardstock with foam tape and attached my image to the circle.

The sentiment is also from the So Fly stamp set in which I heat embossed with white embossing powder onto black cardstock. I love how it really pops off the card! I couldn't resist adding some sort of sparkle to the card so I used a Nuvo Shimmer pen on the metal portions of the plane and Like Magic Sequins mix from Neat & Tangled.

There are so many wonderful examples out there of this stamp set I thought this was a great twist to creating a sky background for my image. Hope you enjoyed it!
