Preview Day 3 - Summer Fun C.C. Designs

Hey everyone!! On to day 3 of previews with C.C. Designs with another fantastic set! This one is called Summer Fun and you'll be able to see why!

This set if full of amazing images for building a fun underwater scene! I used quite a few of them for my card today. My images are stamped onto Neenah white cardstock 80lb with a copic safe ink. Then colored with copic markers. I used the coordinating dies to cut all my pieces out. I am really loving the having the matching dies for my images lately as my Big Shot is always on my desk anyway.

For my background, I ink blended a panel of Bristol Smooth cardstock with Cracked Pistachio, Salty Ocean and Blueprint Sketch Distress Oxide ink. Then spritzed with water and dabbed with a paper towel for the water droplets effect. I then ran this ink blended background through my die cut machine using a Stitched Woodgrain coverplate and also a stitched waves border die. This created a perfect underwater scene.

For the top portion of my card, I again used Bristol Smooth cardstock and lightly ink blended the top portion with Fossilized Amber and Spiced Marmalade Distress Oxide ink. Then laid the Radiating Rays Stencil on top and added the same colors but applying more pressure.

Once my background was complete, I could add my adorable little images. Be sure to head to the C.C. Design blog for more inspiration and chances to win prizes. Release is tomorrow!!
