February Release Blog Hop Kraftin Kimmie Stamps

It's time ! It's time ! Are you ready?! It's hop day with the February release from Kraftin Kimmie Stamps!! What an amazing release this is!

For my project today, I used the Wild Ones stamp set and this time picked the giraffe to color up. I adore these cute critters on this stamp set.

To start off, I stamped my image onto Neenah white cardstock with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink and colored with my copic markers. Then I cut out around the image using my Scan n Cut machine.

For my background, I started with a piece of Kraft cardstock to build my little scene. I added my first layer of Rustic white cardstock measuring 4" x 5 1/2" to the Kraft cardstock. Next, I added a strip of patterned paper with the clouds on it to the top half of the card. This comes from the Spring Things Doodlebug paper pack. I cut some grass from some green patterned paper also from the Spring Things pack, using the Grassy Edges die set. I layered those grass pieces on my card making sure not to glue to top down completely.

I attached my giraffe to the card putting it in between the grass. I cut a banner from the Banners die set and stamped my sentiment which is on the Wild Ones stamp set. I also added this cute heart banner to the top corner using a Heart Banner die set. It's hard to see in the pictures but I added some shimmer with a Nuvo Glitter Pen and topped it with Nuvo Glaze. It's really pretty in person!
