Critters in the Forest - Lawn Fawn

Hi everyone! I'm popping in to share a card for the Lawn Fawnatics challenge that is ending soon! Supplies listed below.

I started by stamping my images onto Neenah cardstock with Simon Says Stamp black ink. Then I colored them with my copics markers and cut out with the Scan n Cut since I do not have the coordinating dies.

For my background, I ink blended Festive Berries, Carved Pumpkin and Mustard Seed distress inks onto Bristol Smooth cardstock. Then I spritzed with water and dabbed with paper towel.

Next, I die cut some Cilantro Lawn Fawn cardstock using the Stitched Hillside Backdrop and cut off the edges so I was left with just the stitched hills. I used Peacock Lawn Fawn cardstock as my base and layered my cardstock. I used some foam tape on the front it and was able to put the log behind it.

The sentiment is also from the Critters in the Forest stamp set and I stamped that with Versafine Ink.

Giving Lucy and Die Cut Layering - C.C. Designs

Welcome again! I have another card for you today and this one is featuring Giving Lucy from C.C. Designs and some die cut layering.  I also have a video tutorial for this one which you can view here on my blog or HERE on my youtube channel. All supplies will be listed down below this post and also in the description area of the video on youtube.

I started out by stamping my image onto Neenah white cardstock with Simon Says Stamp black ink. Then I colored with my copic markers and cut out with my Scan n Cut. I layered my base with some Doodlebug patterned paper and cardstock. Using the Creative Basic Double Stitched circle die I created a circle layer for my image to go on top of.

I use some gorgeous Champagne Glitter paper to die cut my word from. I also cut 3 more word dies using white cardstock and layered them on top of each other using Nuvo Deluxe Adhesive. The glittered piece went on top.

I finished off the card with some Nuvo Dark Walnut. I adore how this all came together for a beautiful fall themed card.

You're Pretty - Neat & Tangled

Welcome back! I have a card to share with you today featuring some goodies from Neat & Tangled. This is from their September release.

I have no coloring on today's card - weird right? lol .... All supplies will be listed down below.

I started out by stamping the leaf from Oak Leaf stamp set with versamark ink onto a 3 3/4" x 5" piece of cardstock. Then I added some gold embossing powder and heat embossed. I was actually going to do use some distress inks for the background but I just loved how the gold looked on the white so I left it.

I also heat embossed the sentiment You're Pretty from the You're Pretty stamp set onto white cardstock  and a sentiment onto black cardstock. I cut out with bold words with the coordinating and trimmed my black cardstock down to a strip.

I layered my cardbase with gold glitter paper onto a white cardstock base. I also cut out a black piece of cardstock for the You're Pretty and added it as a shadow. Then adhered to the card with foam tape. The sentiment I added underneath my popped up words. To finish it off I added  this beautiful new mix of sequins!

Winter Village - Lawn Fawn

Welcome back everyone! The card I want to share today is using the new Winter Village stamp from Lawn Fawn.  All supplies will be listed down below.

I started out by stamping my images onto Neenah white cardstock. I colored them with copic markers and cut them out using the coordinating dies.

Next, I created my sky. I used a piece of Bristol Smooth cardstock and blended Candid Apple and Picked Raspberry Distress Oxide inks. Then sprinkled it with water and dabbed off.

Then I created the front of the card. I used the Stitched Hillside die with white cardstock. I adhered this to the my sky background and starting adding my cut out images. I had a penguin left over from a previous card so I added him too!

Then I stamped my sentiments using Versafine Black Ink. For a finishing touch, I added Nuvo White Blizzard to the hills and a few in the sky.

I stamped my image onto neenah white cardstock and colored with my copic markers. Then I cut it out with my Scan n Cut. I kept the layout of my card pretty simple. I had some fun pirate paper with a map on it and I thought that would look cool with my Viking Kid. I also used the sentiment from the Lumberjack Sentiments.

Mini Monsters Distress Ink - Kraftin Kimmie Stamps

Hi everyone and welcome back! It's challenge day over at Kraftin Kimmie Stamps. Today's challenge is to use your distress inks. I love love love my distress inks. They can add so much to a project! So get your fingers inky and come play with us! You can read more about the challenge over on Kraftin Kimmie Blog.

For my card today, instead of coloring my mini monsters, I used to my distress inks. I stamped them out onto Neenah white cardstock and created a mask for their face. Then I blended Peacock Feathers, Seedless Preserve and Spiced Marmalade over the top of them. I remove the masks and colored in their faces with copic markers.

Pretty cool huh? I cut them out with my scan n cut machine or you can fussy cut them. For the background, I used some Salty Ocean, Blueprint Sketch and a little black soot to create an evening sky.

Ink Paws Challenge #55 - Bootiful Night

Hello again! Today's card is playing along with the sketch challenge over at the Ink Paws Challenge blog. I have a little video to go along with it too! You can view it here on my blog below or on my youtube channel HERE. All supplies will be listed at the bottom of the post.
Today's card is a little different in that I decided to try copic coloring ontop of distress ink. I've never tried it before and I'm pretty happened with how well it worked out. The ink did soak into the paper a little differently but nothing I couldn't work with.

I started out with stamping my image from the Bootiful Night set onto Neenah white cardstock with Simon Says Stamp Black Ink which is a copic friendly ink. Then I ink blended Scattered Straw and Wild Honey distress inks. I die cut that piece with my stitched circle die.

Next, I colored my image with copic markers. I like the yellow behind the image as I think it gives the kitty a little glow.

I then layered my card to match the sketch. I stamped a few bats around my kitty as well to give it more of a Halloween feel.

Then I stamped my image on some Neenah white cardstock and colored in with my copic markers. After that, I cut it out with my Scan n Cut.

Stitched Leaves Mini Kit- Gina K Designs

Welcome back! Today I have a beautiful card to share using the supplies from the Gina K mini kit. These kits are fabulous! So many great products for a great price! I will have all the supplies listed down below at the bottom of the post.

I've also created a video for this card that you can either view here on the blog or HERE on my youtube channel.

I started by stamping the solid image of the stamps in a variety of colors from the Gina K line. Then I stamped the lined images on top with versamark ink and heat embossed with Gina K Gold embossing powder. I used the coordinating dies to cut the images out. This gold powder is so gorgeous!

I then ink blended some Honey Mustard ink onto a white panel so there would be a glow behind my leaves.

Next, I stamped the word Thankful onto some vellum (not included in the kit) with some versamark and heat embossed with the gold embossing powder and cut down into a strip to fit my panel. Before attaching, I lined up where everything would go and stamped the sentiment from the Stitched Leaves stamp set with Charcoal  Brown Gina K ink. The vellum piece I folded behind the white panel and adhered down. Then finished attached my leaves behind the vellum and attached to a Fresh Asparagus card base.
