March C.C. Designs Preview Day 1

Welcome to Preview Day 1 of C.C. Designs new release! We have 7 absolutely adorable new stamps for you and one coordinating die set. This release has so much fluffy cuteness in it - I love every single one of them.... as usual!

Today I am previewing Hop Clear Set and Hop Die Set. I will admit, before this I did not own a coordinating die for a stamp set. I was a little hesitant but after using it - I'm in love! They are so easy to use and fit so perfectly. I do own a Scan and Cut but it's not always set up where as my Big Shot is always out and right next to me (yes call me lazy lol) Also, the mats for the Scan and Cut do not last long and I've already had things slide around on me. So if a stamp set comes with a coordinating die, I highly recommend getting it!

Onto my project!

When I saw this bunny - I could just picture him hopping along in the grass - and that's what I did! I stamped it out - colored him up with my copic markers and cut it out using the Hop Die set. I've made a few cards with this cute stamp set so be sure to check back or follow my blog to see more in the future!

Also, you can head over to the C.C. Designs blog to check out previews there from the rest of the amazing Design Team and Blog Hop later this week!

Fairy Friends Card

Happy Saturday!!!! I'm in love with magical/fairytale stamps so this week's challenge over at Kraftin Kimmie Stamps was perfect for me ! I had already started coloring this image last night and finished it this morning. Pretty simple card.... but one small thing is I added a strip of vellum on top of the patterned paper. I thought it helped soften the pattern a little. Then I added some enamel dots so I could put some dabs of glue behind them to attach the vellum to the card.

Lucky Clover Masking Technique C.C. Designs

I'm sharing today another card using the masking technique and distress inks. I'm using Lucky Clover from C.C. Designs which is part of the February release.

I started  by cutting my white cardstock and foam to 4" x 5 1/4". I stamped my image twice: once on the cardstock and once on a post it note so I could "mask" it. I attached the mask to my image and used a variety of distress inks to create a rainbow background. Once I finished, I removed my mask, colored up my image and stamped my sentiment. I then applied double sided tape to my foam on both sides. I attached the foam to my white cardstock and then that matted piece to my red base cardstock.

A Lil Magic The Greeting Farm

I've always been in love with unicorns and now I get to color them up pretty and add them to cards! Today, I'm working with The Greeting Farm. I kept this one pretty simple (loving the simple look!). I cut my white cardstock and foam to 4" x 5 1/2" and my base blue cardstock to 4 1/2" x 5 1/2". I adhered my foam to the white cardstock using double sided tape. Then, I matched up my cardstocks to the right side so it left a small colored strip on the left. Love ! Love! Love!

Cinnamon Paints C. C. Designs

Hello! Hello! Welcome back! Today I'm sharing a card I made using Rustic Sugar Cinnamon Paints from C.C. Designs. This is part of the new February release. Unfortunately, I didn't write down all the colors that I used on the card - shame on me! But I hope you enjoy it anyway!

Since Cinnamon is the main focus of this picture, I kept the rest of the card pretty simple. I just added a foam sheet behind my white cardstock for a little dimension because if you've been following me ... you know I love my foam!

You can find the Cinnamon stamp set HERE and Lucky Rainbow Sentiments stamp HERE.

Leprechaun card C.C. Designs

Quite a change up from yesterday's card ! I have to admit .... coloring this little guys hair has always been a challenge for me. Buddy Bears Kraftin Kimmie Stamps

I'm on a roll!!! Once I get my mojo going I just have to go with it which means... more for you to see!! Here I used the new Buddy Bears and Sincere Thanks stamp sets from Kraftin Kimmie Stamps. I admit, I wasn't real thrilled with my hand-made background at first but when I came back to it in the morning and took another look ..... I was slightly impressed with myself haha! In hind-sight I really should have used my distressed inks.... but that's for next time.

Rainbow Lucy Clean and Simple C.C.Designs

Happy Saturday! I'm back again today sharing another clean and simple card that I made using Rainbow Lucy from C.C. Designs. Can you tell I'm just in love with this release???!!! This is another card design inspired from Instagram that I switched up the papers and stamps and of course did my own coloring.

There is a lot of dimension to this card! White is actually very hard for me when it comes to cards and since I was refraining from adding too much I decided to use my foam sheets and foam squares.

Supplies used

4 Leaf Puppy CAS Card C.C. Designs

I have to admit, I was inspired by some pictures on Instagram for this card. I just changed it up to use my C.C. Designs stamps. Sometimes simple ... is really really hard! lol .. You feel like you should add more to it but in reality - it's perfect just the way it is!

I have a piece of foam behind the circles and also behind my 4 leaf puppy.

Rainbow Lucy C.C.Designs

Welcome back to my blog! I'm sharing today a card I made using Rainbow Lucy and Spotty Dotty Background from the February release at C.C.Designs. I knew the second I saw this background stamp that I wanted to dig out my distress inks and play... and that's what  I did!

I started out by stamping the spotty dotty background with versamark onto my cardstock. I then heat embossed it with WOW bright white embossing powder. Next I dug out my distress inks! I lightly applied rainbow colors across the whole entire piece and then trimmed it down using the stitched rectangle die. I applied that piece to a piece of white cardstock, adhered some foam behind this mat and attached to my card base.

For my image, I also used the stitched rectangle die and then using my Misti stamping tool, stamped my image in the center.  I love to mat everything as it thinks it just adds a nice little "something" to the card. The sentiment I stamped from the Lucky Rainbow Sentiments and some added some colorful rainbow enamel dots.

I'm super excited how this all turned out!!

New Premade Titles Listed!

Welcome to Monday!! I have some new premade scrapbook titles listed in my store and ebay. These are great for St. Patrick's Day and maybe even just for some celebrating scrapbook pages. These titles are made from American Crafts quality cardstock. I cut them out and paper piece together myself. The patterns for these are from SVG Cutting Files which are available on their site.

I also snuck in this cute title!!

Hog Heaven My Favorite Things

I may have gone a little .... hog wild... with this set and sketch challenge. I decided to play along with the sketch from My Favorite Things and I liked the outcome so much and had all the supplies out that I decided to keep going! I made a couple extra small cards because I can always use a thank you card.

I started out stamping my image onto some Xpress It Blending Cardstock and then also on a post it note with my Misti Stamp tool and Premium Dye Ink. I fussy cut the image on the post it note and put it over the top of my image on the blending cardstock. Next, I used my new Clarity brushes and some Tumbled Glass Distress Ink and lightly applied some blue around my image. I removed my mask around the image and colored it up with my copic markers.

To prepare my sentiment, I cut come black cardstock with my Flag Die from Jaded Blossom. I used one of the sentiments from the same stamp set and heat embossed it with Versamark and WOW Bright White embossing powder.

Once cooled, I trimmed it down and adhered it under my image. For some dimension, I added a foam square behind my mat and adhered it to my cardbase. Final touches is some cute enamel dots from C.C. Designs . This all actually goes together really quick once you have all the supplies out.

Love! Love ! Love! And there are so many other cute images and sentiments on this stamp set!

The Greeting Farm Little Fairies

Happy Saturday! Hope you are having a wonderful weekend! I'm popping in to share a card I made and I must say I absolutely love this style! I see myself making more like this in the future!

I started out stamping two little faires on Xpress It Blending cardstock and then also stamping them on a post it note. I fussy cut the ones on the post it note and added them to the images on the card to mask them. I used the little stars on that same stamp set, stamped them in Versamark Ink and heat embossed it with WOW white embossing powder.

After that cooled, I grabbed my Tim Holtz distress inks. I used Scattered Straw and Festive Berries and lightly went around the fairies. Once my background was finished, I colored up my cute little fairies.

To complete this card, I added the sentiment in the corner and some sparkles from Little Things by Lucy. I also added some foam behind the white cardstock for some dimension. So simple and yet so captivating!! love it !

We also have a new Sentiment Set and an awesome background stamp! Also, we are going back to pre-cut rubber for our character stamps. The sentiments will remain clear for easy stamping.
For my project today, I created a shaker card using 4 Leaf Puppy. I think this is just darling!!! I colored up the puppy with my copics and then cut it out with my scan n cut. The circle window for the shaker I cut out from cardstock and a foam piece using Circles Layering Die and Scalloped Circle. I filled the shaker window with Pretty Pink Posh Metallic Gold and Sparkling Clear sequins. For my sentiment I used Lucky Rainbow Sentiments (new!) and stamped it on the Flag Die using Premium Dye Black Olive Ink. For just a little extra flare, I added a banner across the top.
